Grease Dispensing

Many grease dispensing applications can be addressed using a liquid dispenser. Using a liquid dispenser coupled with a syringe is acceptable when the application does not require the speed or accuracy of automation. The system consists of an electronic liquid dispenser, syringe head adapter assembly and syringe assembly plus appropriate dispense tip. The dispense tip is selected based on material and dot size. This popular dispensing method is widely known as the “Time and Pressure Syringe System”. The primary advantage is an inexpensive dispensing method and that it is simple to set up and use. The disadvantages relate to consistency. When automation or increased accuracy and repeatability are required then mating a liquid dispenser with an air operated valve may be the preferred option. Valve technology is the most accurate and repeatable dispensing method when dispensing small amounts of grease. Spool valves mated to a liquid dispenser are capable of dispensing materials ranging from 5K Cps to 3000K Cps and are perfectly suited for dispensing grease.  For micro shot size requirement, the rotary auger valve is the best choice to use……
